About Living in the New Normal

The MCEC Science Advisory Board

The mission of MCEC’s Living In the New Normal: Helping Children Thrive through Good and Challenging Times Science Advisory Board is to advise the LINN committee and the MCEC on the full spectrum of effects - to include resilience, growth, and achievement, multiple deployments, trauma, and loss - living a military lifestyle has upon military children, as well as to ensure the efficacy of the knowledge base and enhance the ethical and professional credibility of LINN.

Drawing of a clinic captioned: Art of the Military Child, Making the World a Better Place“Just as the experience of each service member who is injured or becomes ill as a result of combat is an individual one, so, too, are the unique experiences for their children.”
